NEXT MONDAY WORK
Hi girls.
For next monday you will do a reading comprehension exercise, so you have to bring your english dictionaries, the work is individual. You can not lend your dictionaries for that work so make shure you bring yours. Using cellphones is not allowed.
Note: The final exam is for next wednesday, it is a really easy reading comprehesion and five questions about conditional sentences type II and other five about relative clauses. You can use your own dictionary but you can not lend it to, and you can not use cellphones neither.

The four elements that we will be grading are movement sequence, sound, time (at least 2 minutes), and text. The voice element is optional but we highly encourage you to add voice recordings to your video. For each element, you will be given a grade from 1 to 5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. We will take the average of all the elements for your final grade for the stop motion video. Good luck!

worksheet
Hi girls.
You have to print this for next class. We will work with this worksheet in class.
COLLOCATIONS
What is a collocation?
A collocation is two or more words that often go together. These combinations just sound "right" to native English speakers, who use them all the time. On the other hand, other combinations may be unnatural and just sound "wrong". Look at these examples:
| natural English... | unnatural English... |
|---|---|
| the fast train fast food | the |
| a quick shower a quick meal | a a |
Why learn collocations?
- Your language will be more natural and more easily understood.
- You will have alternative and richer ways of expressing yourself.
- It is easier for our brains to remember and use language in chunks or blocks rather than as single words.
Tell me who you go with and I'll tell you who you are.
